For Parents
Request a volunteer
Who should request a Good Beginnings volunteer?
Anyone! Good Beginnings of the Upper Valley's services are free of charge to all families. Good Beginnings' aim is to ensure that every baby enjoys a "good beginning." Our services are available to every family in our community with a new baby six months and under. People who use Good Beginnings include:
Any family with a newborn
First-time and experienced parents
Mothers or expectant mothers on bed-rest
Families with multiple births
Foster families
Adoptive families
Families off-balance from sleepless nights
Families of all income levels
At the end of your volunteer's service with your family, Good Beginnings will only ask that you complete a brief program evaluation. Your willingness to help us evaluate our program will ensure that we continue to serve families in the most meaningful way.
