Have you ever found yourself pleading or bargaining with your child in order to get them to do what you need them to do, and when you need them to do it? Have you ever overheard a frustrated adult say to a child “What part of no don’t you understand?” or “Because I said so, that’s why!”
Beyond Bossing, Begging, and Bribing explores the choices we have to parent, teach, and discipline children, and offers a better way to get our children to listen and respond to our directions.
When you leave this session, you will have a deeper understanding of how to provide positive guidance to teach your child self-regulation and self-control, and the strategies that balance structure and support in your child’s life.
Seating for this presentation is limited and available on a first come, first served basis
